This FREE Workshop will provide you with an overview of principles for effective time management & goal setting based on the most up to date research. It will teach you how to apply these strategies in order to maximize study time, effectively prioritize work and improve efficiency.

Please note that no food or beverage will be allowed during this workshop.

Registration is MANDATORY for this workshop.  To register stop by the Wellness Center Student Counseling Services in Room 6422 to fill out a workshop application. Free Hearing Test Services Available To GC Students, Faculty, Staff, Family Members and Alumni

Fitness Class Registration Opens August 24th at 10:00AM

The Graduate Center offers fitness classes facilitated by the Doctoral Students’ Council and the Student Affairs Office.

Registration for the first half of the fall 2017 semester opens on Thursday August 24th at 10:00AM in room 7301. Students, Faculty , Staff and Community Members must register in person at the Student Affairs Office, room 7301. Payment is required at time of registration and a $10 registration fee is applicable each semester for Faculty, Staff and Community Members.

Registration and full payment are required before the first class for all classes, see schedule below. Registration is first come, first served.

Payment may be made by cash, money order or check made payable to the Graduate Center, CUNY. We cannot accept credit cards.

Summer Pilates Session Two Registration-June 20th

The Graduate Center offers fitness classes facilitated by the Doctoral Students’ Council (DSC) and the Student Affairs office.

Registration for the second half of the summer Pilates session will begin at 10AM on Tuesday, June 20th.  Students, Faculty, Staff and Community Members must register in person at the Student Affairs office, room 7301. Payment is required at time of registration.

Registration and full payment are required before the first class for all classes, see schedule below. Registration is first come, first served.

Payment may be made by cash (exact change please) , money order or check made payable to the Graduate Center, CUNY.  We regret that we cannot accept credit cards.

Free Hearing Test Services – Dates for Summer 2017

5/22 & 5/24 | DSC Finals Relief Stations w/ FREE chair massages

The DSC is once again sponsoring Finals Relief Stations this spring to help you rest, relax, and refresh while studying, writing, grading, and dealing with general end-of-semester stresses.

Location:

1st floor of the library, beyond the elevators

Services:

Along with napping/meditation stations, there will be FREE 10 minute chair massages. Please come early in the day to sign up for a slot; you need to reserve a slot for the massages, and they fill up fast.

Time/date:

Monday, 5/22, 12pm-6pm
Wednesday, 5/24, 12pm-6pm

Summer Hatha Yoga at the GC

The Graduate Center offers fitness classes facilitated by the Doctoral Students’ Council (DSC) and the Student Affairs office.  We are offering a summer Hatha Yoga session. Further information will be sent out if we are able to offer other classes.
