From March 20th-24th, experienced Graduate Center student instructors from a range of disciplines are opening their CUNY undergraduate classes to GC students. Whether you’re new to teaching at CUNY or looking to see a different teaching methodology in action, Open Classroom week offers you the opportunity to sit-in on a class session and observe the host instructor’s teaching methods. After your visit, you and your host will have a conversation to discuss the class session, and you will have the opportunity to ask questions about their pedagogy, methodology, and class structure and activities. If you would like to participate, please sign up for a specific session here by Thursday, March 16th. Instructors have provided key words to capture what you can expect to experience during the class visit. Please use these terms as a guide to find a class that fits your interest. Before you sign up, make sure that you are certain your selected session fits your schedule, including the commute time to campus and navigating to the classroom. If you would like to sign up without your name and email being public, or if you have any questions, please email both avra.spector@gmail.com and tlc@gc.cuny.edu. Related
