Open Casting Call – Background Actors for R.F. Kuang Short Film

We’re casting background roles in Book Talk, a short film based on a story by NYT-bestselling author R.F. Kuang and directed by Grace Sun.

Seeking actors to play: College Students (ages 18–30, filming Sun June 7) and Faculty Members (ages 40–65, filming Mon June 8). Midtown, NYC. Must be NYC local.

All ethnicities, genders, and identities welcome. First-time actors welcome. Background roles are non-union. Meals and travel stipend provided.
