Gracie Mansion was built in 1799 along the East River in Manhattan and has been the home of NYC Mayors since 1942. While being the home of Eric Adams, it is also “The People’s House” where we strive for cultural inclusion and recognition. We aim to preserve the historic home and stay true to the Federalist style while expanding our art collection to represent the people of New York City.

We are looking for students with an interest in art, history, fundraising, and museum work to come tour the Gracie Mansion and expand our demographics among both our guests and volunteers.

Close connections with members of City Hall and artists from around the country!
