October 29, 2021 | Rukshana Jalil The PublicsLab is pleased to offer two paid internships for Spring 2022, one with the Gotham Center for New York City History and one with Hikma Strategies, a PhD-founded, -owned, and -operated small business. Questions should be directed to shartman2@gc.cuny.edu. Gotham Center Research Internship (click for more details) The Gotham Center is seeking a Research Intern for Spring 2022. The intern will assist in the development of a digital exhibit on New York City’s experience in the American Revolution. This work serves as the foundation of a much larger project, that will continue until 2026 (the 250th anniversary of 1776), seeking to create a scalable, multimedia app for tourists, educators, and the general public. Hikma Strategies Digital Storytelling Coordinator (click for more details) Hikma Strategies seeks a Digital Storytelling Coordinator for Spring 2022 to help facilitate and shape learning content and digital storytelling for the Entrepreneurship for PhDs program. This will be an engagement-focused role with minimal supervision, appropriate for a student with demonstrated intellectual curiosity and experience in digital marketing, communications, facilitation, creative storytelling, and fostering inclusive communities.
