• The Enclave Literary Series – Caribbean Literature Today –  A reading of poetry and fiction by Spanish American authors. The readers include Venezuelan author Zakarías Zafra, Puerto Rican author Alfredo Villanueva Collado, and members of Letralia magazine. Friday, November 2, 2018, in the Graduate Center, Room 8402 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. This event is hosted by Professors Nora Glickman and Alejandro Varderi.

• Ripples of War: World War I and its Reverberations – Conversations about the impact of World War I in Europe and the Middle East. Friday. Friday, November 9, 2018, in the Graduate Center, Segal Theater from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The event is cosponsored by DAAD. This event is hosted by Professor Sarah K Danielsson

• Women in Combat? The Ambivalent Discourse of Female Militancy in Renaissance Italy – presented by Professor Gerry Milligan from College of Staten Island, CUNY. Thursday, November 15, 2018, in the Graduate Center from 6:00 – 7:30 PM. The event is cosponsored by The Center for the Study of Women & Society. This event is hosted by Professor Susan O’Malley.

• The Enclave Literary Series –  Enclave Magazine Presentation –  Presentation of Enclave  N. 7 with a reading by selected authors. Among them, Francisco Alvarez Koki, Alberto Ferreras, Irizelma Robles and Mario Valero. Friday, December 7, 2018, in the Graduate Center, Room 8402 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. This event is hosted by Professors Nora Glickman and Alejandro Varderi.
