Last week the CUNY Academy received funds to support travel awards for part-time faculty who present or chair at a conference. The Academy thanks Enid Stubin of Kingsborough Community College and the UFS, Evangelos Gizis, our Board Chair and former Provost of Queens College, and Kay Conway, Chair of the UFS, for their efforts to establish this program.

Funds are available for travel already completed, back to July 1, 2017, going forward to May 1, 2018. Applications must be submitted before Sunday April 15. Details are available here. The application form is available here.

Do you have questions or unsure that you are eligible? It is simple. If you hold a part time teaching appointment in CUNY and do not hold a full-time appointment in CUNY, then you are eligible. You must present or chair a session at a conference.
